I started glassblowing at university in 2009 and became fascinated with the techniques and possibilities that glass offers. I love the spontaneity of hot glass and the vibrant colours and flowing forms. I hope to continue glassblowing as a career, either as part of a team or selling my work in galleries.
I studied ceramics during my foundation year at Wimbledon college of art in 2008-09. My project during this time focused on birds; the final outcomes were inspired by the long beaks of hummingbirds specifically.
I have been painting since I was very young and have always enjoyed drawing horses in particular, so most of the portrait commissions I have completed are of people’s horses.
I taught myself how to create digital paintings with a graphics tablet because I love the variety of effects and techniques you can use without having to wait for layers of paint to dry or cleaning your brushes afterwards. I enjoy creating digital art for recreation at the moment but I hope to continue developing my style further in the future.
